We support colleges, universities, and organizations leading learning, training, and workforce development initiatives.
We do that through our community of 2,000+ freelance learning professionals, including instructional designers, learning strategists, LMS specialists, eLearning developers, and other pros supporting modern education and training programs.
We’ve partnered with universities, community colleges, Fortune 500s, non-profits, agencies, and teams across industries, helping them stay flexible and create learning experiences that genuinely support learner growth!

Built around what you shared with us about your 8-week, 3-credit courses, these three options reflect different levels of instructional design support. Instead of treating every course the same, we've laid out a menu that lets the level of support match the level of lift. Start with whichever option feels closest to reality, and we'll take it from there!
When the SME hands over strong, ready-to-go material and mostly needs it brought to life.
Alignment & outcomes check against your backward-design worksheets
Full LMS build in your platform, using your templates and structure
A couple of interactives (H5P or similar) where they earn their keep
QA pass for consistency, accessibility, and image/attribution hygiene
MOST COURSES LAND HERE
The everyday case — a real collaboration: coaching the SME, reshaping the content, building it out. Everything in Build, plus:
SME coaching across the cycle: kickoff, midpoint, and final touchpoints
Restructuring & rewriting content into clean, aligned modules
Activity & assessment design drawn from your idea banks
Richer interactives and a full QA and polish round
When the SME is an outside expert or short on time, and the ID is effectively writing the course. Everything in Develop, plus:
Content authored from the ground up with the SME as advisor
Heavier research, sourcing, and composition
More review rounds and reworking to land it right
Still well under a from-scratch corporate build, because your structure does real work
You'll know more about the SME and the lift than anyone as you build the course plan, so we set the tier together, up front, before anyone starts.
If a course you scoped as Develop turns into Author halfway through - the SME goes quiet, the scope gets bigger - we flag it and have the conversation, the same way we're talking now. No surprise invoices, no pivoting mid-design without your sign-off. Transparency goes in both directions because a lighter course shouldn't cost the same as a heavy one.
QA, project management, and retainer pricing available upon request.
